Find the right coverage.
The broadcaster, your subscription and your location all matter.
National games
Check the game’s U.S. national listing. ESPN, ABC, TNT and subscription streaming services carry different games. An ESPN channel listing and an ESPN+ listing represent different access requirements.
Use the linked broadcaster to confirm the game and whether your plan includes it. Prices, free promotions and subscription bundles require a separate check.
In your team’s local market
Local broadcasters serve specific territories. A network marked “home market” or “away market” is local coverage for that team. It is not nationwide access. Check your ZIP code and package with the team or broadcaster.
When Prime Video is listed for a U.S. local broadcast, the game’s Prime button names the team’s market. Open Prime Video, search for that team and confirm the game. A Prime membership does not include every team’s subscription package; access depends on your location and plan.
Outside the local market
Regional games may be available through ESPN+ or NHL Center Ice, subject to blackouts and other exclusions. We show this as general guidance; we do not automatically approve a game for ESPN+ from a local-network listing.
NHL Network games have a separate ESPN+ exclusion. When NHL Network is listed, confirm local coverage or a television package carrying that channel.
How this guide checks listings
Game dates, start times and broadcast assignments come from the NHL schedule feed. Times use the selected timezone and its daylight-saving rules. Missing or stale records are labeled for rechecking. Schedule updates do not extend our separate viewing-rule review date.
Listings show when they were checked. A recorded live state means live at that check; this guide does not provide a live scoreboard.
